Hi folks, this is my first post but I've been coming here to read up on hikes and conditions for quite some time.
This was my first time up Pilchuck. There were a lot of cars at the trailhead. Since we started up @ 3:00 pm, almost everyone came down as we were headed up.

Welcome #1!
Thanks for the Trip Report and the pics.
How were the bugs up there?
I was there late in July last year and the bugs were unbelievably awful. Haven't been back since but am thinking about taking the kids up there in a few days.

After 3 trips up Pilchuck this past winter I think I will stick to that season as there are far less people.
Although I would still like to go up there one 4th of July evening.....
