My daughter and I went for a quick trip beyond the Kendall Katwalk (I should have checked the spelling before I titled the clip....but it's only for NWHikers) to get her legs in shape. Most everyone on this site has been there and beyond so I'm just including a clip from the "trailcam" going down the trail. A good 17 mile shakeout for our upcoming hike to MRNP Elysian Fields and others. edit: removed for new video....

Nice work. How did you keep the camera so steady?

Recorded at 60fps, mounted at the end of the pole seems to come out pretty stable....

I like the new techniques you're trying out. You should have held that pole out over the edge of the Katwalk cliff instead of hugging the inside track!

Awesome video. I think this type of virtual hiking is going to be a trend in the future. No more bland guidebooks. You'll be able to virtually hike the whole trip before you go.

You might want to use this as your new signature statement.

Why was that person out front running away from you? smile.gif Nice video. Gives a much better idea of what that section of trail is like than all of the pictures I've seen.

On the route towards Cutthroat pass? I can't seem to find any Snowy Lakes near that section of the PCT
