I'm digging the classic selection over at ok.ru videos. Seriously, watch this little man dance... https://ok.ru/video/1676250581648?fromTime=324 OK Rooski makes firefox take about 7 minutes to quit on my mac... you might want to consider your liabilities if running a windows os, but there is a really fab selection of movies here...

I ran into this video series last night. I thought it was quite interesting, and informative, even though I'll likely never build/re-build an engine of any sort.

"Are you ready for the Yukon Striker, the world's fastest, longest, and tallest dive rollercoaster? It opens in May at Wonderland in Vaughan, Ontario just outside Toronto. It has a record 245 foot drop. Here is the simulation of it."
According to the web site here are some world records for this roller coaster: 1. The fastest dive coaster at 130 km/h (80 mph) 2. The longest dive coaster at 3,625 feet (1,105 metres) 3. Tallest dive coaster at 245 feet (75 metres) - includes underground Great simulation. That first drop is mighty steep. eek.gif ~z

Dialogue. It's all about the writing. Creative gamers use the Halo engine to do FPS comedy. Pretty fun stuff in 2-3 minute bites. Way better if you've gone up against the Covenant a time or 50, but it's basic enough to get the drift. Fun stuff.
The following episodes skip the character intro.

I spotted that "lotsa elk" video on OregonLive yesterday and enjoyed it! On another topic, vaguely related in that elk and giraffes are both ruminants, April the Giraffe is expecting again. Birth is "imminent" meaning any time from now through the end of March. I've almost gotten hooked again in that I've started checking in 2-3 times per day.

May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view.--E.Abbey

One of the few movies I enjoyed enough to watch a few times so far: Mountain on Netflix. I really liked the images, the video, the narration and the music. All around, it gets a "two thumbs up" from me.

Not a fun program but important: A number of folks have been posting bootleg (apparently) cc's of Oprah Winfrey's extended interview with the director and the two men who are the subject of the new HBO doc "Leaving Neverland". The link below may not work by the time you click on it, but like whack-a-mole, it keeps re-appearing. I don't have cable but was so impressed by the Oprah program that I signed up for an introductory free week of HBO Now so I could watch the 2 part (4 hr) doc, where the Winfrey interview is also available. The two men involved were not plaintiffs in the infamous lawsuits, but had been witnesses for the defense as children. The HBO doc interweaves interviews with the subjects, their extended family, and private/public historical video footage. The director has created a powerful "primer" that every person can learn from re how these things happen.
