A couple wknds. ago BB & I headed east once again to the Anza-Borrego region to check out some wind caves. We exited the 8 @ Ocotillo & then took S2 NW to a dirt rd. heading northish into the Coyote Mtns. Wilderness. @ the TH we found a big sign that wasn't of much help.
BB @ the old beat up TH sign which no longer says anything except a for a note someone scribbled & dropped down inside through the broken glass.
But as it turned out, the trail/route was pretty easy to follow anyway. We traveled up & down little rises & enjoyed the scenery & warming temps.

We got into a wash & saw a big rock, & shortly thereafter spotted the arch the book mentioned.

Then it was time to start looping back around & see some wind caves. There were lots of fossilized shells along the way, evidence of much wetter climes long ago.
