I am on for Shi Shi as well and will be going over on Friday day staying until sunday mid-morning.
I am heading for the beach this weekend and will take along a supply of bags for my own daily pick - up.

Just three ish weeks away!
Who still plans to go?
I will be hitting the Edmonds/Kingston ferry Friday morning....i have extra space in my car if anyone wants to car pool.

Hulksmash, What time Friday morning, and when are you going to head back? I also offered to drive people but so far no takers, so what the heck might as well carpool.
My original plan was to head out Friday and come back Sunday, but nothing is set in stone. PM me or post here.

So How many people from nwhikers.net are planning on doing the Shi Shi clean up?
And is anyone else up for ride sharing?
Are most of you just going for a day? Or are a few of you going to make it a long weekend like Hulksmash and myself?
Hope this is not to personal, never sure what OK and what not on stuff like this.

Hulksmash is giving me a ride to the coast on Friday and we will be headed back on Sunday. The plan is to camp on Shi Shi for the weekend. Not sure just where but it will be both sand and trees so maybe at Petroleum creek or I know a few places further down the beach. (South End)
Weather dose not look to be great, but don't let that stop you, I will have a big camo tarp set up and hot coffee for who ever wants some, or until it's gone! Hope to see lots of you on Saturday!!

My plans for this weekend fell through(realized that the fun summer hike has avy danger this time of year). My alternative was the rivers along the Olympic Coast. But I was going to decline due to fuel costs. The ShiShi cleanup sounds awesome. IF someone is going via Olympia(carpool) let me know. I would be coming from the south and have an adopted little brother a couple of miles south of Olympia that might allow me to park my vehicle in his driveway.
