I'm not so sure this sound very appetizing but they would probably give you great energy and stamina when you're trying to survive being outdoors. I myself would stick with the regular Clif Bar Builder's Bars

+1 on the tanka bars. The berries make them not as dry as jerky, and they're not too sweet.
I'm also native american, which might make me biased towards anything made by natives.
