Wow! An online coffee table book. An outstanding write-up on a great accomplishment. Really nice!

Great write-up, Tom. Really well done, both the climbing and the report.

Phenomenal work, Tom, and really fun to read your writeup of each and every peak on the list. up.gif up.gif

Awe-inspiring achievements. I'm grateful to you and your climbing partners for doing these climbs and bringing back the great photos and TRs you share with us here. Thanks for doing the tough work of writing such concise and powerful summaries on each ascent. I particularly enjoy your summary paragraphs in this post.

Congratulations on your membership into the small cadre of climbers who have completed this list. Tom and I have been partners on two of the ten completed summits from that list and I have enjoyed his mountain comraderie. But we were also partners on two failed attempts on Lincoln peak. When close to the summit on those two outings the mountain's complexion was changing and Tom decided it was time to retreat. Tom not only makes it to the top of difficult peaks but more importantly knows when to call it a day. He knows that a successful climb is one in which you get home. That is perhaps the most important climbing lesson to be learned and it is on his hard-drive. Thanks for the mountain memories.

Great write up Tom and of course great climbing. Those are some serious peaks and routes, most of which i'll never get up, but are few are on my list.

@iron.. As far as I know, Dallas and I are the only ones to finish The Difficult 10. If anyone else knows otherwise, let me know. I know of at least one other person that is working on the list. @Anne.. tsk. tsk. @Mike C.. thanks! Thanks to everyone for the comments! It's neat to see people excited about the list like I am. It would also be neat to see more people tackle it. There are some amazing experiences to be had by a moderate, but experienced climber interested in testing themselves on nearly everything this great range has to offer.
