We have been having squalls of torrential downpours out here right before the earth drops off. I was told that it totalled an inch of rain earlier today... So, as we were getting a bit concerned... eek.gif it is nice to know that we aren't going to drown... biggrin.gif

Michiana sky is fascinating and oscillates between relentless downpours and beautiful sheep like cloud formations. I regret that I didn't manage to capture any lightnings so far. Here are some pictures I took at the Notre Dame campus when I was running to my car while the sirens for the tornado warning took off. Others are from more peaceful times.

I wasn't blessed with a rainbow view here so far, Paul. Strange, considering all the thunderstorm action

Sorry for contaminating the thread with non-rainbow stuff. But.. I am getting scared of my intuition. I bragged yesterday about tornadoes, and today we had second in the year tornado warning on campus. Unusual in the fall. Some fresh pics from the siren time.
Sorry, no trumpet! lol.gif My science collegue from Oklahoma claims he doesn't go inside unless tree branches start falling off. eek.gif We venture out from chem building , with coffee cups, with every thunderstorm occasion. Today he was finishing his cigarette with bored, almost disappointed face. He is definitely missing home hockeygrin.gif
