They are about 12% merino. It's on the ingredient list. Nowhere on the package does it say 100%. 80+% polypro. |

You are talking about different product (base layer) I am talking about thin zip sweater (they come in different colors too!)
One I bought have on label (right under KIRKLAND) 100% extrafine merino wool. End other label have "pure new wool Woolmark Merino Extra Fine"
So far I like it... may be I even take it on a Hike...

All I can find online with 100% merino is >$59. Maybe it's like McD's 100% pure beef. Yes the beef is 100%, but the patty is only 60% beef, the rest is fillers, preservatives, etc. |

Costco store #1 has a bunch of Mountain Hardwear Versteeg shells. I don't recall the price, >$90 for sure. Lightweight (14 oz. advertised weight), pit zips, DryQ |

The Mountain Hardware jackets at Smokey Point Costco didn't have pit zips. I want to say they were $55? |

Almost everything I own is Mtn Hardwear, my down jacket, micropuffy, sleeping bag, tent, might as well have one of their raincoats.

I just took a quick look. The jacket I tried on was the Versteeg, definitely had pit zips. MH website says Versteeg has pit zips. Price may have been $85?????
There may have been another MH jacket there, cheaper, without pit zips. I plan to go back this evening. Will advise. |

60% beef, the rest is the cardboard that it came in. |

my wife is at costco in smokey point so I asked her to check it out. It's the "runoff" for $45 and no it does not have pit zips.
They also have the "nitrous" down jacket for $129. |

If I had to wager a guess, I'd say Kirkland. |
