First snowshoe of the year with 2 feet of fresh snow and crystal clear skies made for a REALLY day. Thanks a million to the Mt. Baker Club and volunteers who worked this year on blazing a trail connecting upper and lower systems!
Our hopes of routing the whole Razor loop dwindled quickly as we had to start breaking trail immediately. We were pretty tuckered by reaching the
"knob" even though we used the new shortcut through the woods.
Glad I brought: down coat, sit pad, shades, landjaeger
Could have used: more landjaeger
