Heh. Better let the girls off the hook on this one. Ingunn is still in her 20's, Josie still in her 30's...I'm the "senior citizen" of the group. lol.gif Ok here's some photos, a bunch more on my Flickr site. http://www.flickr.com/photos/48937858@N07/sets/ Hopefully the girls will add some more. Karen & Company...I'm speechless. Jealous. Amazed. It seems like these places were made just for you to explore and enjoy, and you do it in such style! Beautiful photos and the coolest video I've ever seen on this site! Thank you so much for sharing this trip with us! up.gif up.gif up.gif

What a fun trip! Gorgeous pics, as usual, K. I thought your video was funny and delightful. biggrin.gif Isn't Valley of Fire neat? I imagine it gets ignored a lot because everyone wants to leave LV asap and head straight to Zion (or Bryce, etc.) I thought "Mouse Tank" was a pretty funny name. Glad you had a wonderful trip with good friends. cool.gif

Wow! Looks like you had a great time. Excellent photos as usual.

I had loaded up my Kindle with books for this trip (expecting long, sleepless nights in my tent), one of them being My Year with Eleanor, exploring Eleanor Roosevelt's advice to "do one thing that scares you every day". Little did I know that Karen's itinerary would allow me to do just that. wink.gif 1) getting up early enough to catch a 7 am flight (okay, I might be confusing "scares me" and "pisses me off" here). 2) hiking in waist-deep, 46° water without a drysuit (and then converting it to Celsius so I would actually understand how cold that is).
