We were at our family cabin on the Oregon coast last week and saw big waves on the horizon that never got closer. It looked like an approaching tsunami eek.gif especially through powerful binocs. Realized what it was before heading for the hills.

Happened again today. I shot this from the road leading to Mowich Lake, later in the afternoon. Looking out towards the Olympics through a 200mm zoom lens.
