Great job on the video, Stefan. You got everything from the fern jungle at the bottom to the celebration on top.
Note: not in a wilderness area. We started from a nice little trailhead on Conrad Road that leads to Barr Creek. From there, it was pretty much just five thousand feet up the ridge to Bald. Approximately a thousand feet of sword ferns, a thousand feet small brush and old slash, a thousand feet of mossy ground under open forest, a thousand feet of snow under open forest, and a final thousand feet on a narrowing crest with a couple bonus humps for an extra 400 feet of gain.

What an awesome group! Much fun was had by all. It took a little getting used to hiking with a shirtless unicorn, but I think we all came out of it without too many emotional scars. I didn't make my Christmas Party, but it was worth it. Happy Birthday to Stefan, Martin, Natala, and John.

Uhhh, I know of a couple of Bald Mountains. Which one was this?

Great idea for a hike, fun trip and nice to see the surrounding peaks from a different view. Big thanks to Erin B for all those steps, she's a kick stepping machine.

Nice video Stefan! A very fun day out with an awesome group. It was a little hard to keep track of everyone on this trip, but according to Greg, we came back with at least 70% of the people we started out with! lol.gif
