WOW! I just got home from Carbon while on a walk with my dad. From silence and beauty to come home to disgust! May Takhoma unleash her fury upon those who take the protectors from her. Our condolences to the family.

I'm a man, I can change, if I have to, I guess.

So very sad. My thoughts and prayers for her and her family... frown.gif

I usually am at Paradise on New Years day for a snowhoe hike, but had to work last night. Sure wish that I would have been there to help out.

God, I am going to regret this someday!

I'm remembering the Olympic NF ranger who was killed a couple of years ago. I frankly hope today's perpetrator meets the same end as her killer did! They're going to need a sharpshooter team to get the guy, unless he runs out of ammo. My profound sympathies to Ms. Anderson's family and to the entire MRNP staff.

God bless you ranger Anderson. Thank you for your service. May your family find peace in the months and years ahead of them. Please find and kill this creature before he can harm anyone else.

May the Four Winds carry you home Margaret Anderson.

This is just awful beyond words. A life has been ended. A family has lost their mother/wife. A special place has been desecrated.
I couldn't agree more. I can't even put the sorrow and disgust I feel into words. My deepest sympathies to the Anderson family. I can't even imagine what they are going through.

What kind of monster goes off like this from a traffic stop? I hope he suffers.

A person who is running away from something much larger. While I hope to see the shooter caught and brought to justice, I cannot wish for any more suffering.

From the latest KOMO article, he also shot 4 people at a house party earlier that day in Skyway. We were just coming down from the MTTA Yurt about 1:30 and saw all the police heading into the park. Cars from every department in the area. Then while we were eating at Bruno's we saw the Tacoma police go by escorting an armored vehicle at high speed. The waitress filled us in what was going on since we didn't know.

Well, it's being suggested now that what he may be running away from is this
