WOW!!!! Awesome captures, jd, and I know you haven't pushed the colors, 'cause I get most of that view from my kitchen, every morning. I just never manage to catch the right moment. irked.gif

This morning, January 4 ...for about 5 minutes
Sunrise, It only lasted about 5 minutes, but I saw it! The rest of the day was downhill. totally gray and dreary by 10 with steady rain

I have to agree meandering Wa , I was not sure if the sunrise or rain would come first. I did capture the wind whipping the top of Rainier and a much more orange sunrise than yesterday's red one before I was heading to the car as the rain started.

Another rich sunrise in Bonney Lake. The wind as whipping so it was hard to keep the camera steady even on a weighted tripod. This was the storm froont coming in from the west.

Nice shots Jason. I like the ski pole perspective. That's a great concept shot.

Awesome, Jason. up.gif I considered bringing my camera with me to ski the Austrian Alps, but given my propensity for falling quickly decided against it. These, however, are incredible shots... thanks for bringing back the memories!
