I watched one fish for a while up in the Skagit Wildlife Area (i.e. the "wetland hunting reserve" along the Skagit). It was cool to see.

Nice mid day shot of a fine area.
Here's a shot from yesterday out on Whidbey from up on the loop trail at Ebey's Landing, as the weather was sliding in out there in the Strait.

I wandered in the Alpine Lakes on Saturday, the weather ranging from threatening to inclement. Autumn colors beginning, huckleberries, trout, precious minutes with a chatty pika. A grand day.

I've seen a few more glories since that McCausland one, as it's just been that sort of month. But not nearly as intense as that one...
Speaking of intense, I'm glad I had my camera on and mounted to the tripod as this scene appeared and disappeared in very short order yesterday afternoon, viewed from Ebey's Landing on Whidbey Island:

I went up to the Entiat on Saturday and mostly shot timelapses but also some stills.
