Only seems fair to return the favor . . . fun seeing you guys. It was the first decent day that we have had in a while and Fourth of July Creek trail and old lookout seemed like a really good idea.

Four-paw buddy lets me tag along!

I love this spot. I always have to stop and snap a pic on my way by, but I'm always in a hurry to get to the destination or back to the car. Some day I'll have to actually spend some time and use proper photographic technique.

Found this little gem the other day alongside a Forest Service road in the SE Olympics near Spider Lake.

I am taking a couple of vacation days off from work this coming week for an extended weekend and the Dungeness River is one of the places I am planning on going to so I can take some river pictures.

Did you do the Cradle Mountain trek? It was amazing.

That was what I’d originally planned, but icy roads meant that I had to be content with a 10.5mi (round trip) boardwalk ‘hike’ from the Interpretive Center to Dove Lake. If I ever return to Tasmania in better conditions, then the Cradle Mountain hike will be a must do.

Can't believe it's been 9 years already....rafting in Klonaqua lake.

Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.
