Anyone up for hiking up to Eagle Lake or Barclay and staying overnight 2/11-2/12? Not a fast moving trip and want to really get out. Have been getting cabin fever really bad and this one seems like it might actually be enjoyable this time of year. And any info from anyone on the Beckler Rd or FS 6024 condition would help too.

Well from what I've been finding in reports, looks like the road up to Barclay is snowed in pretty well. BUt I have no reservations about hiking up there.

I'd even consider Valhalla, but I would want to do this with someone who's been there. Don't know the route at all.

Decision made. Going for Valhalla again. Maybe this time will be a little easier. Trying a different route.

| For the record, we got about 3.25 miles up 6024 today. About a mile from the end of the road. There were a few downed trees so having a high clearance vehicle or a saw would help. When we were walking out the road had melted so much that we could have almost made it another quarter mile. |
