To keep a short story short, we drove east and north until we saw a hint of blue sky . . . then we drove up Mission Creek Rd from Cashmere, past some interesting residences at the start of the FS Rd 7100, parked the car in the snow at the 2nd turnout, walked the road to where it crossed the creek, and went up the ridge, first to point 2869’, then 3030’, then 3167’, and on to Sheep Rock. We were in pretty good weather, but views were limited. It was warm and we only had a few “spits” of rain. We descended the same route. Drove out on the same snow (6"slushier now). Stared at the fascinating houses again. The end.

Only rocks at Sheep Rock, no sheep
Summit. Register is in a Folgers can hidden in the bush
Great idea! Love that open pine country. Fascinating domiciles indeed!

Yee the register is still there! I placed it there last spring, I was hoping it would stay!
Sheep Rock beat me once but I got it the next time. It's an interesting little guy, never seen anyone come from Mission Creek before. Interesting.
