Do line locks work well on guy lines during very windy conditions? Or do they slip. I am a bit of a knot wizard and have never used them much. I only ask because they seem to save time.

it's funny you would mention this place because that's exactly were I was at when I thought of line locks. I Purchased one of their bags last year (20deg, 1lb) and have yet to try it out. I Normally use a truckers hitch, or a adjustable loop on al my guy lines, they never slip even in the worst of wind storms, they just take a bit longer to set up.

Put your line locks on then we can go back to Dollar Lake and test them out.

Hi Mike. Yea that storm pulled my deep set stakes out of the ground, I don't think line locks would have stood up much better the way I was rocking. Maybe the olympics will let me try that out . Along with the new camp chair, new bag and pad, and Wild Oasis.
