Both are very skilled but who do you like better?

I like them both, but I lean toward Stroud because he goes solo with no camera crew and is more believable, Grylls OTOH is more entertaining, yet to me less believable.
My fav Survivorman episode is when Les goes to Papau New Guinea and eats some native natural drug, get's really high and plays his harmonica.
My fav Man vs Wild episode is the one in which he tries to rob a bees nest, get's stung, has a reaction, can hardly see and then decides that it would be a good idea to now take on a rattlesnake......really?
They are entertaining and *somewhat* informative.

There was an 11-page discussion of this a while back. Maybe chime in there.

Should be Johnny Knoxville or Bear Grylls.

It's all just entertainment.

Man vs Wild (Bear) is more of a TV show for entertainment. They set up a lot of that stuff for him to do for demonstration/entertainment purposes.
Taken for what it is, I get a kick out of watching it. If you are watching it for realism though.....

What bands are they in? I think Les Paul passed away.

They don't make years like they used to.
