So I bought an SSD for my wife's laptop. Anyone clone the harddrive including the recovery partition? Tips?

I use Acronis True Image w/ plus pack (plus pack for migrating a pre-installed OS to another hardware configuration, but if you're putting it into the same laptop, you won't need plus pack). It has some bugs, but for what you want to do, it would be quick and easy. They offer a 30-day trial.

I have Acronis v9, Clonzilla etc. I want to clone the HD to an external USB enclosure with the new drive. So far no problem. What do I do with the recovery partition? Do I have to manually recreate it?
