I was one of those who made the second trip from Bootjack back across the ridge towards Highchair. A memorable day indeed. I logged 13 miles and 6400' of gain that day. If you'd like to refresh your memory I posted a trip report for that trip: Long Day On Highchair
A bootjack is a device used to assist a person in pulling off their boots. It sometimes takes the shape of an elevated ramp with a "V" notch at the end.
