I'm considering changing my nwhikers username to either "Josh Lewis" or "Alpine Josh". Although I certainly had a lot of fun with the username "Flow", I figure I should have a username that is either my real name or the identity that further describes me. What do you folks think?

I believe I speak for everyone hear when I say I think you should change your name to "Wolf". You're probably wondering why which it's very simple. Wolf is Flow spelt backwards. This signifies to me that you have done a complete 180 and no longer will be duck taping your feet or getting picked up by the cops for riding your bike across Steven's Pass.

Wolf might be OK. Except wolves know how to use a GPS. I liked Flow myself. Pick something and stick with it or people will think that you are lost. |

Then again .... he may be lost!
Just kidding .... I'd stick with Flow but if you really want to change that, Wolf is also a good choice. On further thought, though, you seem pretty likable so I'm not sure "Wolf" is right either.

I have always liked Josh. It's hard not to like him because he reminds me of me and I like his Mo-Jo. Soon he should be leading a Mountaineers hike on his own. |

I think Fleau would be good, because it has a more European sound and spelling to it. Most of the alps are in Europe too, except for the Japan Alps, which lie west of the United States. A compromise might be Alpine Fleau, or possibly Alpenfleau.

Alpine Josh is kind of cheesy....just sayin', not hatin'. Honestly you're better than that, find another angle. Stick with Flow, a good choice originally and even a better one now. There's a ton to be said for letting all see your progression. Alpine Josh sounds like something made up by a catalog writer; your blog aspirations would be far better served as simply Flow, the young man from G. Falls or G. Bar or whichever town it is who takes great photos and writes some entertaining stuff.
Fleau? Us Americans are supposed to read that as flea-u right?

Yea I was thinking along the same lines. Sounds like a new line of outdoor wear or something.

My suggestion? Go with the flow.
You can take that for what it's worth given my username.
