Visit to the methow valley 6/29-7/1
Driveway Butte and Gizzley mountain
Highlights
1. Rain: sun ratio 1: 10
2. Cinnamon colored Bear on trail ( It was frightened by my singing )
3. Burnt forest re-growth
4. Scrambling Grizzly with no path
5. The squashed banana- tenderly carried to the summit by hand and then accidentally trodden on
Oh ....and there were some not so bad views

Not a snowflake of snow on the trail. snow bank seen in the pics was on the other side of the mountain, and provided some silly fun, but no hiking challenges
a wonderful early summer cruise in the high country
This view is looking up Robinson Creek between Last Chance and Scramble. The snow covered mountains at the end of the canyon are Robinson Mtn and Beauty Peak.

If you were plunge over the south side of Driveway Butte and bushwhack down you would arrive at Beyond Lost just on the east side of Scramble.
