Since Ellinor is still closed for hiking, I'd like to head up it's neighbor Mt. Washington but have heard rumors that the road heading up has a slide.
Anyone been up there recently and know what the road conditions are?
Thanks.
The road is a bit washed out but you can park right at the climbers route, since it's close to the junction. Don't take the Jefferson Pass trail, that is the class 4 climb. The little way trail next to the washout seems to be the main climbing route. The road is drivable but I would not reccomend it, it's so narrow and crumbly the weight of a car could be enough to make it collapse.
