Hi all - just stopping by to share a little project of mine in case anyone's interested. After putting together a little business card for last years Winter Outdoor Retailer show and getting some great feedback, I've published the darn thing as a 18x24" screen printed poster.
I'm selling 'em online right now over at http://wasa.bigcartel.com and will be shipping 'em out as soon as I get this run finished printing in the next week or so. Take a look and let me know what you think - there's a backpackers, paddlers, and ski/boarding version following shortly... Thanks!

Cool poster! What's X? eXposed? eXtreme? Got the rest of them, but I only know what a V-thread is because I read Steve House's book recently. edit: Ooops, it says at the bottom ...

You've got a talent for illustration. V is for Abolakov?

That is a very cool idea. I'm proud to know as many of them as I do. You should do a spoof one, too. Heck, the folks in here will probably take care of that for you soon.... clown.gif AJ

Thanks for the kind words. A spoof one would be fun - but I've got 3 others (hiking, paddling, skiing) stacked up that I'll probably ask for some help with from the community here. Coming up with 26 unique terms for backpacking that I can illustrate has been fun - but there's a few I could use some help with. Right now Q is for Quinzhee, but... any other ideas? You get the picture.

"F" for Freezer Bag (FBC) meals. You do that and I'd buy it lol.gif up.gif Love your work though, that is neat!

Q can be for quilt - some backpackers choose to use a (usually down) quilt - e.g., no "bottom" in lieu of a sleeping bag to save weight. Okay, that's a bit of a reach. My only other idea is food related - quinoa. That made me think of all kinds of q foods, but quinoa is the only backpacking friendly one. ;-)
