Tim and our dogs took advantage of a break in the rain for a high-elevation escape. The Buckhorn Wilderness is 'tucked in' for the Winter in a quilt of clouds and a light blanket of snow. Sleep well, Buckhorn Wilderness, until next spring. Pictures and a full report here.

Time on the trail allows us to pause and remember that we are human beings, not human doings.

Gorgeous photos, especially loved the dramatic clouds and the one coming down Buckhorn.

I love Buckhorn Mountain. I never found the time to get out to the Olympics this summer. I plan to change that next year.

Bravely done, Barking Sasquatch! up.gif Hopefully you had a flask of "adult antifreeze" to make it through the long, cold night? biggrin.gif
