The service isn't down. Looks like user error. Your gpx file does not exist: http://trailpeople.org/1.gpx

Yeah its weird. But honestly, the uploading/attaching of a gpx file just like its any other file and then it gets displayed automatically is sweet. The other ones were links to the file on my server which is getting deflected somehow. But not that first one.

@russoroni Your first map displays tiles from the MyTopo Company (now owned by Trimble). Sometimes their servers can be rather slow. For the purpose of simply testing a file, I suggest that you only include the 'q' parameter in your link, like so: h_ttp://www.mappingsupport.com/p/gmap4.php?q=http://sites.google.com/site/gmap4files/p/helpfile/Johnson_Ridge.gpx 1. You will get the default basemap which is Google Terrain. 2. Your map will automatically be centered and zoomed such that all of your data is on the user's screen. By first testing your file with a basemap that Google (i.e. fast servers) is hosting, you can eliminate confusion that might result if you initially test your file with the basemaps from MyTopo or the USGS and those servers happen to be slow at that time. If your file tests OK then go ahead and include whatever value for the 't' parameter you want when you publish your link. Anyone working with GPX or TPO files needs to read about the "refresh" parameter in the Gmap4 Help file. http://www.mappingsupport.com/p/gmap4_help.pdf Joseph, the Gmap4 guy

Yes but the refresh parameter is only for when you link to a file thats not on google and make a change to it. It tells gmap4 to go and read the updated file.
