I took a late afternoon hike up the popular Eagle creek trail. Although it was a very wet day most had gone home already. If you look close at the photos you will see two kayakers in the creek. The one in the orange went under for a long time he got lucky his kayak stopped in an eddy in a gorge. If you look close at the second photo you will see his kayak in the gorge. He was under quite a while he crawled up a mossy steep bank and traversed to his kayak witch popped up before him. It looked kind of crazy from my view point we had several days heavy rain and high freezing levels. Plus they carried the things on their backs at least 2.5 miles. They looked very well equipped.

Was an interesting afternoon in the gorge.
