Thinking about hitting up this area in the next weekend or two. I imagine it's still pretty snowy? contour: where are those "disenchantment" lakes? I'm trying to place it on the map. Is that near the White Chuck Cinder Cone?

Ditto this. It won't be until August for me, but I want to head in via NF Sauk and White Pass and ramble around the country west of Glacier Peak for several days. Post a TR when you go Conifers.

Thanks to the OP for inspiring me to get up there, finally did this week. As far as where the lakes are, at the foot of the Whitechuck Glacier, to the west of it. Most direct route is from White Pass and Foam Creek. Can also be accessed in a roundabout way from Red Pass.

Any chance anyone can provide some more information on this route or a similar one in the area?

This is my track from this area. I think official name is Glacier Peak meadows. https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/591035908 It is a very easy route - you basically follow standard approach for climbing Glacier peak summit, but once reaching the melted out glacier go away left from the beaten trail and the crowds and explore the meadows and lakes. The area is large and you can wander for a long time.

My take is that the Meadows are the lower elevation area near the PCT. The lakes basin is not meadowy at all.
