I went and played around Mt Pugh then tried out the Burger Barn..Yelp reviews were iffy at best..
27 bucks got 2 burgers, 2 drinks fries and an onion ring basket..
Mine is the Loggy Burger...Overall Pretty good food..

How long did it take to get the food from the time you ordered it? I haven't had any luck getting it under a half-hour. I'm not complaining or anything; I am way lenient, esp. if it looks like it's a teenager's first day on the job - sumpin' to consider though.
But yeah, good food at Burger Barn.

Once was enough for me at BB. I don't know how they get so much grease on their food.

Jeff, next time you're in town, check out the Hometown Pizza and Bakery in Darrington. Right off 530 - look for the small sign on the sidewalk pointing the way. They're open 'til 9 PM and their pizza and salad is very good. Cash only.

We were the only ones there outside of 2 orders to go. But maybe 15 min tops..
I like to try different burger places every 2 weeks that's why I went.
Kim I saw the bakery place but it had a line and of course I wanted a burger.

Skidders. It closed. Red Top Tavern is all that's left. Haven't been there; not sure if there's any grub other than pickled hard-boiled eggs and beef jerky.

Dunno. I haven't heard anything about it in quite awhile. Probably hard times, not enough dough....? I actually forgot about it; I'll see if I can find sumpin' out.

I stopped in a talked to the owner last year when they were just starting the remodel. I told him that I hoped he would be serving food since hikers would be among his best customers. He told me that there were no plans to have a kitchen at that time .

Bring something to eat as you're driving home instead.
Even if just a sandwich or power bar you stash in the car.
If you're feeling risky, maybe a low alc. beer too.
