I found a quarter of an isle with prepper food in it, I think it's a new
feature. Some of the stuff will be good for backpacking. I got a 2
pound can of dried veg for just $12.00, that will save me so much time
buying chopping and dehydrating veg. There were also big cans of
freeze dried blueberries, raspberries and strawberries. Lots of stuff to
choose from, including some MSG laden meaty products.
The product I bought was called Auguston Farms Vegetable Stew
Blend. Contains potato dices, cabbage flakes, chopped onion, carrot
dices, celery slices red and green bell peppers. So the number one
ingredient is potato, but it had plenty of veg in it.
Hmmm. Have you made any root stew yet? Love that stuff!
I am at a loss for finding meats and eggs. I live in a small town tho....
Good on ya for the happy discovery!
Woops
The stew is good, it's mostly pototoes but had enough onions and carrots in it to give us some veg. I've been mixing a little bit into some of my meals. It goes well with ramen.
I don't have a Costco membership and the closest Costco is 25 miles away, lucky I'm not a prepper I guess..
They had some meaty stuff there but I was too worried about MSG to mess with it.
