I cannot beleive you didn't wing suit or at the very least paraglide down. This way you wouldn't have had to bivy.
How lame…….

Ya know, ww, you should have left the skis behind too and just boot-skied Willis Wall....to save weight.
And why take clothes? They can be heavy.
So can boots !
Next time, leave everything behind.
To save weight.
You'll have a FNN-BD of the wall!

Me neither. I was seriously confused when he said he ditched his skins because they kept getting in the way... Then I re-read and .

I was led along too, but just for a bit. The tipoff, now obvious, was the date of March 31. Ww must have hoped the post date would show as the next day.....or maybe not, just to fool fools like me if only for a little bit anyway!

Time displayed is GMT-8 (PST). Forum software doesn't handle daylight savings so we set the forum time zone to GMT-7 (PDT) during daylight savings and change it back to GMT-8 (PST) in winter. Side effect is DST posts display an hour earlier during winter and vice-versa.

I'm surprised I haven't seen more trip reports for this, I do this every summer for my July turns as the cliff drops are bigger and more fun than in the winter. Really don't forget the sunglasses in the summer though, I did that the first year to save weight and it was a big mistake.

Ha. Got you all beat. One time I effortlessly skied Willis Wall. Left my body behind to save weight. I wouldn't blame you for thinking this trip was all in my mind.

Good one, Alpine Rose!!
If I left behind not only my body but also my mind would doing the latter save any more weight?
(now I'm descending too but not descending Willis Wall....descending beyond ridiculous. )
Merry Christmas everyone!
