Looking at getting a weber or a traeger grill? What's everyone's opinion and/or experience?
Thanks

Gas or charcoal? If the former, Webers are very high quality, cook great, replacement parts available.

Traeger has a steep learning curve since a new user needs to rethink much of what they know about grilling, but once a person knows what they're doing I'm convinced it is the absolute best grill made. Pretty cool.

Avoid charbroil. Can't go wrong with a weber, worth the extra money.

I agree with the Big Green Egg suggestion.
But between the two choices given in the original post... Weber.
60 pounds lighter but not 60 points brighter.

I'm a man, I can change, if I have to, I guess.

I have been using an old CharBroil for years and it works fine... cast iron grates need replacing... but I can still manage some pretty tasty dinners on it.
I never really liked the Weber round pots... used a big one and one of the little "Smoky Joe" models.... always seemed to concentrate the heat in the center... I want it around the outside edge if I'm doing a rack of ribs or a whole chicken. Can't beat that little Weber for searing a fat little ribeye, though.
(no gas, ever.)
