Hey Riverside, did you get a good bargain on your Remington when you purchased it? If so, then it might be the model they call a Remington Steele. These cut-price typwriters are suppose to be very good for writing detective novels. As for me, I use more than one brand. For typing capitol letters, I always use an Olympia. For the letters m, b, and i, I use an IBM. If I am typing to the Duchess Kate of Cambridge, then I always use my Royal. If I am writing a letter of complaint to the dairy farmers, I use my Imperial, and wide margarines. Underwoods are suppose to be as easy to use as falling off a log, but as far as I can tell it is still a qwerty and there are no shortcuts, unless you are a quick brown fox jumping over a lazy dog, that is.
