I'm just going to link this one, the review is here. To synopsize, I bought this pack earlier this year as an overall travel and day/overnight do it all pack. I'm retiring in a few months and my wife and I are planning extensive overseas travel. I wanted a pack to squish or lay flat in a rollaboard, one that had enough volume to do overnights along with compressing for day hikes, something I can carry a tripod, poles or a (Zpacks) staff, bike....you get the gist. It has to be robust enough to stand up to off trail, etc. I've certainly put this simple pack through its paces during peak bagging this year, hiking the Inca Trail.....no abrasion or holes so far.
