I came across this car hood on a recent hike in Arizona (a long way from any road or TH) and was just curious as to the model and age.

I had a feeling the raised section down the middle would make it easy to identify, I just didn't know my 50's cars all that well. Even though I owned a few different models. Thanks. Now it would be interesting to know how it got there.
