No, we haven't fulfilled our time in NBA purgatory. clown.gif

Im not sure. I would hope so, while DROPPING THE NAME CLIPPERS! We will see. The whole thing seems pathetic. He's paying more money than the last three NBA teams sold for together! Anything is worth what anyone will pay!

Not a chance, LA is too lucrative of a market compared to Seattle. Ballamer isn't going to flush a 2-billion dollar investment by moving it to a smaller market.

Well I guess those little green cigarettes are legal now in Washington state because at least 2 people had to be smoking them when responding to this poll... If anyone thinks the Clippers will end up in Seattle I have some prime mountain top view property to sell you in Florida.

At one time the Clippers were the laughingstock of the NBA. However, they also had World B. Free.
Quote:
He got his name from his days in Brooklyn, where a friend nicknamed him "World" because of his 44 inch vertical leap and 360 degree dunks. He was known for taking high risk shots and playing flamboyantly. For both the 1978–79 and 1979–80 campaigns, George ["the Iceman"] Gervin and Free were number 1 and 2 in the league in scoring. Free averaged 20.3 points per game over 13 seasons in the NBA. His best season was 1979–80 with the Clippers, averaging 30.2 points per game, as well as 4.2 assists per game and 3.5 rebounds per game in 68 games. He was an All-Star that season as well, although the Clippers failed to make the playoffs.

Yes! They will move to Seattle and be renamed "The Clippies". Fans will yell "ARE YOU TRYING TO MAKE A 3 POINT SHOT"? The world will continue to turn. ......unless, of course you're one of the biblical hard core and the sun rests in the sky. B-Ball is skill based...but yet...but yet...

don't believe everything you think

but yet...but yet sometimes there is more traveling in one game than your average touron does in a year. I think someone should write a book: "Four Steps to Returning Basketball To Its Original Form and Fundamentals"

This and only this is the reason it can't happen. There's just no way Balmer should move the team to a smaller and less lucrative market just to bring an NBA team to the Pac NW. What markets would give you a remote chance for an ROI on $2B? LA? NY? I can't think of any others.

The plot is getting thicker than a day old pot of cold oatmeal: Will Sterling's sale proceed? In the meantime, Hansen Doubles Down on SoDo Land

I hope not. I'd rather move all our sporting venues to Renton or Kent or Wenatchee or something. Horrible traffic problems they create, and tax payers are STILL paying for the kingdome. It's just corporate welfare.

I agree...btw, obviously he has money to burn, he payed waaaaaay too much, they will never be worth freakin 2 billion.

Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.
