As of lately I've been busy with college life. Getting ready to move up to Western in Bellingham has taken a toll on my climbing and hiking. With almost a month without hiking or climbing since my Rainier summit I've been missing out. This past Sunday I finally gotten some relief and went with a buddy I've known for almost a year through various trip reports and Facebooke friends. Sunday was the first time I hiked with him.
I think we all have a little bit or nerves in our blood when we go hiking or climbing. Even if it is with your family members but still hiking and climbing is hard and even sometimes dangerous. I just wanted to say that before I got down to the pictures.
Nonetheless less I had a great time. Long approach but nice and fun along spray park and up to Observation rock. The whole trip was about 80% rock/trail while some of the upper slopes of the Flett Glacier were snow.

Little hazy but the blue pond makes it all better
This is my favorite. The blue pond makes everything brighter
