I am thinking about doing a weekend hike next weekend (leaving in the morning on Jun 27). Can anyone make a guess on the snow conditions? I think it may be a little early for this hike...
I was in the area on June 10, 2012. Still lots of snow at that time but consolidated. We came in via the Middle Fork. A couple of these pics might give you an idea of what conditions could be like coming from the Snow Lake side if that's your idea.

Outside of a abnormal year, June is simply to soon to be bagging high mountain lakes.
