Hiking partner wanted. Easy/moderate pace to scout trail. July 5th - Ironstone - Burnt Mountain (S. I will be leaving Olympia early each morning and could car-pool or meet you at trailhead. I am mid-fifties and do not usually feel the need to rush but typically hike 2-2.5 mph.

This hike is deceptively further than it sounds, and once you reach Ironstone you'll want to climb it, which takes even longer. It's one of our biggest "joke" hikes, because no matter how many times we've set out to summit Ironstone we've never made it. That being said, I've read TR's here from people who drove over from Seattle, hiked the whole thing, and were back home for dinner, so maybe we're just wimps.
