We're going to be in the area for the first time in several years and are looking to buy some legal fireworks in the Puget Sound area. The last few years we've celebrated in Michigan, where they are legal and plentiful and, compared to the last time I bought them here, quite inexpensive.
What's your favorite place to get them?

They are all legal where you buy them, it is where you take and light them.
I'm a man, I can change, if I have to, I guess.

Each year Dr. Andy buys a big box of rockets, etc. at one of the stands on the Muckleshoot rez on SR164. Don't pay the sticker price. Haggling is part of the fun. I'm impressed by the firepower he gets for <$100.

Yep, the res is the place to go. Go on the 4th. By then they've made a bunch of money and are looking to finish off their remaining stock and are more willing to deal.

That link goes to a stove thread. Gotta have the Onion article on fireworks.
Thanks for the tips, folks!

Pretty sure the only legal fireworks here are "snakes", sparklers, and those little paper things you throw down and every 4th one makes a teeny tiny "pop" noise.

Fireworks aren't legal in Seattle.
The South side of Roxbury Ave SW is unincorporated King Co. where they are legal but the prices are high. Go to the res.

All those listed as "Seattle" are outside the city limits. Unincorporated King Co, Burien, Tukwila, but not Seattle...

I think 2823 SW Roxbury is in Seattle or is it not. I wonder if that stand is really there. Or maybe it is some other Roxbury. Is West Seattle even part of the United States?

City line goes right down the middle of Roxbury to 30th SW then turns and runs S from there. Addresses on N. side of Roxbury from 30th to Meyers Way are in the city, on the South side in King Co. That's on the S. side and yes, that stand is there.
