Got in some nice easy hikes... Independence lake has a couple blowdowns that are easy to hop over, otherwise both trails are in good shape and mostly bug free still. 25min to Independence lake from TH, 35min to Barlow Point.

Tried a Kelty backpack here, and a Sherpani Rumba (green one above)... hands down the Sherpani is much better in comfort and storage space.

Yes, I'm in the same boat. Trying to get the wee one out as much as possible even though she sleeps during most of the hikes.
