I had plans to hike across NCNP with a friend this week, but he can't make it. Now I have a week and a half off and I'm scrambling to put a plan together. Hiking from Easy Pass to Stehekin has been on my list for a while and this might be the time to do it. But I won't have the time, energy, or food to hike back to my car.
Can anybody be bribed into giving me a lift from the ferry to the Easy Pass trailhead next week?
I don't know what day, but I'll have an answer shortly and I can be a bit flexible in how long I stay at Stehekin. Ideally I'd like to leave before the weekend (8/16) though.
I used to bus to Seattle from Chelan when I worked there one summer. It might be easier to bribe someone to drop you off at the TH and take public transportation home.
Turn right at the Stehekin R. and exit over Cascade Pass. Should be easy to get to 20 and back to your car. I did that trip once and did a side trip down to Stehekin and then back over Cascade Pass.
