While I *might* not be free next weekend Oct 11-12, if the larch hang around I'd be interested in a future trip - can take mid-week vacation time if weather is better.
Suggestions: Grasshopper Pass, backpack at Cutthroat, Cooney and/or Eagle Lake...
I'm a moderately paced backpacker, strong enough but no superwoman.
Also have heard there's great fall color up on Bald Eagle Ridge.
Open to suggestions as well....
