Seattle PI article

Touron is a nougat of Arabic origin made with almonds and honey or sugar, without which it would just not be Christmas in Spain.

Can't help thinking that at least a few of these could still provide adequate flotation for at least for a short voyage. Which leaves me wondering about salvage rights, eminent domain and regulations regarding piracy. Could a dinghy with a ten horse evinrude pull that schooner out of the slough?

I kayaked through there a few times. Fun to explore, but very sad. So many boats just decaying to nothing. it costs more to get them than you'll get to scrap them, and if there is any fuel/oil on board you have a big problem. They should make the owners responsible for them, but that doesn't seem to happen or work?
