Not sure that will be a problem with our current weather.

After a deluge rain here just an hour ago the sun came out. Got out the welding helmet and there it was (or wasn't). I showed the young girls next door and they called it rad!

I got a glimpse of it about 45 minutes ago. All I had was glacier glasses so my look was essentially instantaneous. Raining now, heavily, but I'd probably not look again anyway. Not as easy to view as the lunar eclipse was a couple of weeks back.

As I build Virginia class nuclear attack submarines here at Quonset Point Rhode Island I see no eclipse! Unless I look into the fuel pool! LOL

I got lucky, the haze cleared and I got 20 min or so before the real clouds closed back in. It was neat to catch both performances of the moon on this half orbit.

It just made it through here in Stanwood. Not clear enough for pin and paper. But just fine through viewing glass.

...wait...are we just going to hang here or go hiking?
