Thanks for the Klahhane Ridge photo, bobbi. The following photo of Mount Jupiter taken this morning shows that the eastern Olympics got snow overnight, just like HR did. Looks to me like the snow fell as low as about 4500 feet elevation on Jupiter:

I know this is the "Hurricane Ridge Webcam" thread, but just wanted to post a pic of the fresh snow as seen at Marmot Pass today, ~10" fresh up top (well... one of the shots is looking in the general direction of Hurricane Ridge... sort of over a couple of ridge lines..  )

here's why the ridge road was closed today
Weather permitting;the Hurricane Ridge Road is scheduled to be open Friday through Sunday and Monday holidays from November 27, 2015 through March 27, 2016.The road is also scheduled to be open daily from Saturday, December 26 through January 3, 2016.
btw: a week or so ago, that same webcam was actually pointing upwards. hubby Mark was very surprised as the webcam is on there tight. anyway, he and the other IT guy went there and re-aimed it.
unsure who gets to scrape the ice/snow. the sun?

I noticed some grass about 5 days ago and a big patch of grass yesterday in view of the cam facing the parking lot.
I went to Hurricane Ridge a year ago today and there was no snow. A pic from President's Day 2015.
