2nd week of 2015, the year is slipping by quickly

Touron is a nougat of Arabic origin made with almonds and honey or sugar, without which it would just not be Christmas in Spain.

Kind of looks to me like a culling of press releases from tourist bureaus that some reporter decided to mine for a year-end article. If you are the sort who wants to be among the first to see a new museum or some such, it's not a bad list. Otherwise, meh. Which is great, as Yana notes biggrin.gif

Please, oh please, don't come to California...even with flowers in your hair. The Sierra are full. There is no more room. moon.gif

The Sierras are huge, plenty of room to wander around and not necessarily bump into anyone. Probably staying off the JMT and outside of Yosemite helps if you're seeking solitude.
